The German teams Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim are meeting this Sunday, March 3rd, for a Bundesliga game.
Just based on the last five confrontations, Bayern can confidently be declared the winner. The Bavarian team beat Hoffenheim four times (twice by the royal scores of 7-1 and 4-0) with only one 0-0 draw occurring.
That, however, is only the tip of the iceberg: Munich is currently the absolute dominating power in the Bundesliga, the German goal machine having won all of its last five matches (the last one by a crushing 6-1 against Werder Bremen) and that not counting the Champions’ League victory of 3-1 against Arsenal. Now in first place, it seems headed for yet another championship title, with Borussia Dortmund trailing by 17 points.
Hoffenheim, on the other hand, is holding the penultimate place, one that leads to certain relegation; they also lost 4 of their last 5 games (1-2 against Augsburg, 0-1 with Stuttgart, another 0-1 with Hannover 96 and 1-2 against Eintracht Frankfurt, that also being their last game) and with Bayern as their next opponent they look one step closer to Bundesliga 2.
Moreover, Hoffenheim never won a single game in the entire history of matches between the two teams! Although it did end up with honorable draws twice, victory is yet to be experienced. And it’s highly unlikely that such an event will occur this coming Sunday.
I rest assured as I place my 10-unit bet on a Bayern win, with the odds set at 1.29 at Bwin.
