The match that took place on the 24th of February between the Italian teams Inter Milan and AC Milan ended in draw. This means that I’ve lost the bet I placed on the victory of AC Milan.
Apart from the casual game, this match was a sheer test of control for Mario Balotelli, who was subjected to racial taunts by the fans of Inter. Still, he managed to maintain a vertical position, by ignoring them and focusing on the game exclusively. Unfortunately for Balotelli, the pressure made him waste some important chances.
The first half of the match was leaded by the Rossoneri. The early shot of Mattis De Sciglio was saved before his cross found Mario Balotelli unmarked, just yards from goal.
The first goal of the match came in the 21st minute and it was scored by Stephen El Shaarawy. The second one came in the 71st minute and it was added by Ezequiel Schelotto, after Nagatomo sent him a cross.
All in all, I think AC Milan could have won this match if Mario Balotelli would have fructified one of the golden chances he missed, mainly because of the pressure caused by the supporters of Inter.
Result: -4 units, bet lost
